Introducing this website

About us

Welcome to the website of the Helpston Local History Group.
Helpston is a lovely limestone village in north west Cambridgeshire. Up to 1965 the village was part of Northamptonshire and many historical archives for the village are found in the Northampton Records Office. Between 1965 and 1974, Helpston was part of the short lived county of Peterborough and Huntingdonshire.

This website is created by a group of volunteers. We’re always keen to hear from members of the public wishing to join our group, so if you’re interested please contact us.
